GENMA 4 Hybrid RTGs Depart for Mexico, Supporting Port’s Green Transformation

Dec 25, 2025

Four Hybrid Rubber-Tyred Gantry Cranes from GENMA have been successfully loaded and shipped, destined for a long-term partner in Mexico.

Compared to the previously delivered diesel-powered RTGs, this new batch of hybrid RTGs utilizes advanced hybrid technology. By optimizing energy configuration and management, they can achieve a reduction in fuel consumption of approximately 60% under comprehensive operating conditions, leading to significant operational cost savings. Furthermore, the hybrid system substantially reduces exhaust emissions and, combined with a low-noise operational design, effectively improves the working environment in the port area, aligning with the global green port initiative.

For enhanced safety and operational efficiency at the terminal, these hybrid RTGs are equipped with multiple intelligent systems. These include AGSS, PDS, laser anti-collision, automatic fire suppression, and CCTV, etc.

GENMA remains committed to providing efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly material handling solutions to its global customers. This shipment also signifies that the collaboration between GENMA and its partner in Mexico has entered a new stage in promoting the green and intelligent transformation of port equipment.
