GENMA Expands Southeast Asian Presence with New RTG Order

Apr 23, 2026

GENMA has secured a new order for RTG cranes from a customer in Southeast Asia, marking the first collaboration between the two parties. The agreement further diversifies GENMA's client base and reflects sustained market confidence in the company's port equipment manufacturing and service capabilities.

The RTGs will be deployed within the customer's existing container yard to improve container flow and stacking management, thereby enhancing overall operational efficiency. Due to width restrictions on the approach bridge leading to the terminal, transporting the cranes as fully erected units is not feasible. To accommodate this site constraint, GENMA will deliver the equipment in a knocked down format, with final crane erection and commissioning to be carried out on-site in the terminal's rear yard.

Victor Wang, Vice President at GENMA, commented: "We are pleased to welcome a new partner into the GENMA service network. Our focus is on delivering a high-quality product while minimizing any impact on ongoing terminal operations. We will meet this commitment with the rigorous standards that define our work."

Design and production preparations for the project are already underway. Moving forward, GENMA will continue to support port operators worldwide through solid manufacturing expertise and adaptable, field-oriented solutions that deliver long-term operational value.
