GENMA Delivers 100-Tonne Transshipment Floating Crane

Oct 30, 2026

GENMA has successfully delivered a 100-tonne transshipment floating crane, which is set to sail soon to its operating area for offshore bulk cargo transfers. With a maximum lifting capacity of 100 tonnes, a working radius of 43 meters, and a hoisting height of 35 meters, the crane is engineered to seamlessly handle various bulk vessels, providing a reliable boost to offshore transshipment efficiency.

To address the long-term operational and cost challenges common in offshore transshipment, GENMA has equipped this crane with several targeted design optimizations:

· Independent Three-Compartment Layout for Safer, Easier Maintenance
The crane features an innovative layout that houses the power, electrical, and winch systems in separate, isolated compartments. This physical separation prevents interference during maintenance, significantly improves safety, and dramatically reduces daily maintenance complexity and downtime.

· Precise Control for Optimal Energy Efficiency
Equipped with a high-performance electric control system, the crane offers rapid response and a wide power adjustment range. This translates into precise micro-control during operations and outstanding energy savings — significantly reducing energy consumption per tonne and directly lowering long-term operating costs for the owner.

While this unit is ready to set sail, another transshipment floating crane is currently in the final assembly stage and is expected to be delivered in early next year. Moving forward, GENMA remains committed to delivering efficient, safe, and energy-saving solutions that create greater value for customers worldwide.
