GENMA Secures New Order for 15 Fully Automated RTGs, Demonstrating Strong Market Recognition in Automation Capabilities

Aug 28, 2025

GENMA has once again achieved a significant milestone with the recent signing of a contract for 15 fully automated RTG cranes. This order further strengthens GENMA’s leading position in the field of automated port container handling and reflects the market’s high recognition of its technological strength and product reliability.

Since the independent global operation of GENMA’s container crane business began in 2022, the company has sold over 30 fully automated RTGs (L4) and successfully converted more than 30 existing RTGs to full automation within just three years. This remarkable progress not only highlights the growing global demand for intelligent and efficient port operations but also underscores GENMA’s expanding expertise in automated port machinery.

GENMA’s fully automated RTG stands out as one of the few systems in the market capable of fully automated handling of external trucks. With industry-leading operation success rates and the ability for a single operator to manage over five RTGs simultaneously, GENMA significantly enhances port operational efficiency and safety.

Looking ahead, GENMA remains committed to driving innovation, deliver high-quality products, and provide global port customers with smarter, more efficient, and reliable container handling solutions.
