Six GENMA RTGs Set Sail for Egypt — Another Collaboration with a Leading Mediterranean Terminal

Aug 27, 2025

Recently, six RTG cranes custom-built by GENMA for an Egyptian customer were successfully loaded and shipped to Egypt after completing assembly and site testing. This delivery represents the second successful project between GENMA and the customer, demonstrating a further deepening of their collaborative partnership.

These RTGs serve as key equipment in the customer’s terminal expansion initiative. Designed with a 16-wheel gantry, 4-wheel driven trolley, and mechanical anti-sway technology, the cranes are equipped with comprehensive safety protection systems. These include anti-collision features for container, RTG/truck and stack changing, multi-directional monitoring, highly sensitive fire detection, and the emergency hoisting system to ensure the safety of both cargo and equipment under unexpected circumstances.

This repeated partnership fully reflects the customer’s recognition of GENMA’s product reliability, advanced technology, and efficient project execution capabilities. Moving forward, GENMA remains committed to empowering the global port logistics industry with innovative technology and high-performance equipment.
