The wharf project of GENMA Tongzhou Bay Manufacturing Base (operated by Nantong Rainbow Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.) has successfully passed completion acceptance. This milestone marks the wharf’s operational readiness, facilitating efficient global shipments of GENMA and KOCH products and strengthening supply chain capabilities.
The project includes a 40,000-DWT general cargo wharf with ancillary facilities, covering 343 meters of shoreline and an annual designed throughput of 820,000 tonnes. As the core logistics hub of the GENMA manufacturing base, its commissioning will improve shipment efficiency for oversized products (e.g., port machinery, bulk handling systems, offshore equipment), shorten delivery lead times via direct vessel loading, and enhance global supply chain responsiveness with dedicated heavy-lift berths.
The acceptance was conducted by a panel including Tongzhou Bay Port Authority, Nantong Port Engineering Quality Supervision Station, maritime safety and environmental protection agencies, and technical specialists. In line with the Regulations on Final Acceptance Procedures for Port Construction Projects (Decree No.19 of MOT), the panel conducted rigorous on-site and document reviews, unanimously confirming full compliance with design specifications, construction quality meeting GB 50139-2018 standards, and operational readiness—officially approving the acceptance.
GENMA remains committed to providing high-efficiency, reliable material handling and lifting solutions globally. The wharf’s completion represents a key leap in the vertical integration of GENMA’s industrial chain, injecting new momentum into on-time order delivery and the implementation of its globalization strategy.
