The touchscreen on your GENMA machine is how you talk to your equipment. It gets tapped and swiped all day — fingerprints and dust are inevitable. But cleaning it the wrong way can do more harm than good.
What the manual says
According to the GENMA maintenance manual:
· Turn it off first — power down before cleaning to avoid unintended inputs.
· Use a soft cloth — a clean, lint-free cloth is all you need for routine wiping.
· Don't press hard — excessive force can damage the screen.
Everyday tips
· Give the screen a quick wipe before starting your shift.
· For stubborn smudges, apply a small amount of screen-safe cleaner to the cloth — never spray directly on the screen.
· Avoid rough tissues, abrasive cloths, or cleaners with harsh chemicals.
A clean screen keeps you in control. Treat it gently, and it'll serve you well for years.
